This past month has been a difficult one for those of us committed to social justice. Now more than ever I am reminded of the importance of the work we do at A Long Walk Home where we use the arts to educate, inspire, and mobilize young people to end violence against women and girls. Thank you for generously giving your support to us over the years. Your generosity has enabled us to make art and reduce violence in the lives of girls and young women, their families, and communities all over the country.
Today, we still need you. We ask for your continued commitment to help us build a safer world for our most vulnerable citizens-black girls and young women. Will you help us to continue this work by giving this year?
When you join A Long Walk Home, Inc., you support creative and innovative programs to end violence against girls and women. For example, your gift can help sponsor college students and youth who want to prevent sexual and dating violence, support schools to keep underserved neighborhoods safe, help sexual assault survivors receive long-term counseling.
